The Hundred 2025 is underway, and the teams are battling it out to be crowned winners of England's premier T20 league and the fastest league in the world. Amid the ongoing season, several England stars such as Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, and Jamie Overton sat down and named their ultimate Hundred playing XI.

The players were asked to name the ultimate team irrespective of their participation in the Hundred or not. Notably, the three stars picked India batter Rohit Sharma as their opener alongside Chris Gayle. Further, Viv Richards also made it to the list.

Three Indians Make Cut In England Stars' Ultimate Hundred XI

"No.2, I'll go for Rohit Sharma. Played against him many times. He's hit hundreds, many match-winning scores. He's one of those players who, when you bowl to him, can take the game away from you very quickly. Effortless as well, so I think he's up there as my opening pair. So, he will be there at No.2," remarked Adil Rashid speaking to Sky Sports.

Overall, the England talents picked up three India stars in the Ultimate Hundred XI, which featured Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja as well.

"No.7 Jadeja because he is a very good left-arm spinner. He can bang in at the end and is an amazing fielder as well," added Harry Brook.

Overton also backed Jasprit Bumrah to be a part of the ultimate Hundred playing XI.

"No.10, I want to go with probably the best fast bowler in the world at the moment, Jasprit Bumrah. White-ball skills are obviously at an elite level, yorkers, slower balls," remarked Overton.

Here is the complete playing XI

Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma, Sir Vivian Richards, Brian Lara, Sam Curran, Andre Russell, Ravindra Jadeja, Kieron Pollard, Shoaib Akhtar, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga.

Harry Brook Kicks Off The Hundred On A Positive Note

Following a successful Test series against India, Brook didn't take time to adapt to the shortest format of the game as the right-handed batter played his first match of the Hundred 2025 on August 7, where he played a 25-runs knock. Brook will next be in action against Trent Rockets on August 10.
