After the rise of Afghanistan cricket in the last few years, the cricket world welcomed a new legend. Afghan spinner Rashid Khan has mesmerized the cricket world with his brilliant spin magic.

The Afghan spinner added a new glory to his exciting new journey. He has signed with the Red Bull family and is set to join a lineup of top cricketers.

Red Bull Family Welcomes Rashid Khan

In the last decade, Afghan cricket’s rise on the global cricket map is worth inspiring. Fighting against all odds, the nation carved its name in cricket legacy, and the world got some new superstars of the game. Among all, the legendary spinner Rashid Khan has become the first global cricketing superstar from the nation who graced the big stage of the franchise leagues with his spin magic.

After a long break, the star spinner is eyeing a stronger comeback in the field. Ahead of that, the spinner unlocked a new milestone in his career. The Red Bull family welcomes Rashid Khan as their new athlete, marking a new chapter in his journey.

With that association, he has become the second Asian player after KL Rahul to join Red Bull’s roster. He now joins global cricket stars like Ben Stokes, Kagiso Rabada, and Dewald Brevis as a proud member of the Red Bull family.

A Triumph Return In Cricket

After a brief break from cricket, after having a forgettable IPL 2025 season for the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan is back into competitive cricket in the ongoing Hundred 2025. The comeback can’t be more special as he registered a spell of 3/11 in the opening match against the London Spirit.

As he has already found his form, bigger challenges are waiting for him. As the Asia Cup is starting on September 9 in the UAE, the Afghanistan side is set to play a Tri-series with the UAE and Pakistan to sharpen their preparations ahead of that. As the Afghanistan Cricket Board already released the preliminary squad for both assignments, Rashid Khan is ready to lead the side.
