The International League T20 2023 is finally down to its last match. Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants will be contesting out in the Grand Finale to be the first ever champions in the history of the league. 

The final match will be taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. It is scheduled on Sunday the 12th of February at 7:30 PM IST.

The Desert Vipers had a good run in the league stage. They played 10 matches and managed to win seven of them. They finished at second spot in the points table with 15 points under their belt. They next faced off against the number one team from the league stage, the Gulf Giants in Qualifier 1. The Vipers defeated the Giants in the match and qualified for the finals as the first team.

The Gulf Giants on the other hand, had a great run in the league stage. They won seven of their 10 matches and finished at the top of the points table with 16 points under their belt. But then they lost against the Desert Viper in the Qualifier and then had to play against MI Emirates in Qualifier 2 in order to make it to the finals. 

In Qualifier 2, the Gulf Giants chased down a target of 168 runs in 18.1 overs losing six wickets. So, after an eventful journey, the Giants find themselves in the finals of the tournament, once again facing off the Desert Vipers to be the maiden champions of the ILT20.
