The MI Emirates will face the Dubai Capitals in the Eliminator of the ongoing ILT20 2023 season. The two sides finished the league stage among the four highest-ranked teams on the points table, thus punching their tickets for the playoffs.

The winner of the upcoming contest will have to undergo another hurdle before the final, in the form of Qualifier 2 on February 10. Meanwhile, the loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
