It has been a trouble in the paradise for the West Indies board as both the men's and the women's teams have failed to produce the needed results in the recent while.

While the men have been under fire for a disastrous T20 World Cup 2022 followed by a whitewash at the hands of Australia, the Women in Maroon haven't fared any better.

The team was cleaned up in the latest series at home as the side churned out arguably their worst performance of the three-match ODI series as they suffered a 151-run flogging in the final ODI enduring a 3-0 whitewash at the hands of England Women.

Head coach Courtney Walsh spoke on the disappointing results and talked the terrible result against England,

“I thought it was a poor series by us, “We didn’t play the type of cricket we wanted to play, so England outplayed us. The bowling was not bad and the fielding was not bad, but I think, in all three games, the batting was not what we expected, what we wanted or what we were hoping for,”

“So the series was lots of disappointment because I know we can play better cricket than that and we didn’t show that.”

The team will have a lot to think about as both their men's and women's sides have failed to provide the results in the recent while.
