Rohit Sharma-led team India dished out some clinical performances in the T20 World Cup to make it to the semi-final of the showpiece event.

Hardik Pandya has been a vital cog for the Men in Blue, especially with the ball. While he has picked up eight wickets in five matches at an economy rate of 7.46, he is yet to fire with the bat.

Pandya's memorable spell with the ball came against the arch-rivals Pakistan in their tournament opener, where he churned out three crucial wickets.

Meanwhile, the former wicket-keeper batter Parthiv Patel lavished praise on the Gujarat Titans captain and reckoned that the 29-year-old has gone under the radar in Australia.

Here's what Parthiv Patel said

"Hardik Pandya's bowling has gone under the radar. If you see during the India vs Pakistan game, he took two wickets in one over, and from then onwards their momentum totally changed,

"In the win against Bangladesh also, he took two wickets in one over. People are not talking about it much but I feel his bowling performance has become a huge advantage for India."

Pandya is India's second-highest wicket-taker with eight wickets in five matches and is behind Arshdeep Singh, who has 10 wickets to his name. With the bat, he has scored 65 runs in four matches.

He played a sensible and crucial knock of 37-ball 40 against Pakistan in their tournament opener. India successfully chased down a target of 160 runs, courtesy of an unbeaten knock of 82 runs off 53 balls by Virat Kohli.

Team India is all set to take on England in the second semi-final of the tournament on Thursday, November 10 at Adelaide Oval. All the eyes will be on the likes of Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya, who are yet to fire with the bat.
