Virat Kohli maintained his prolific run in this T20 World Cup 2022 by charting an undefeated 64 against Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval. The batting leviathan will now reprise his role for India in their final group game against Zimbabwe on Sunday, November 6, i.e., a day after celebrating his 35th birthday.

Ahead of the fixture, Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine hailed Kohli and even admitted that his side has no plans to tackle the Indian batting legend.

Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine has acknowledged the Virat Kohli threat ahead of his team's match-up against the Men in Blue. However, the left-handed batter said that while his team is excited about the contest, they have not yet made any plans to tackle the senior Indian cricketer.

Ervine also stated that Kohli is too good of a player, and his team will try its best to upstage him.

The stylish southpaw also believes that the match against India presents his bowlers with an excellent opportunity to make a name for themselves. Apart from Kohli, they will be up against the likes of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik.

Here's what Ervine stated

"I don't think we have any plans against Virat. I think he's just too good a player. I don't think that special plans really work for these guys because they're so good at adapting to different conditions and different situations,

"This is a great opportunity to bowl against some of the best guys in the world, so there's no reason why guys would not want to actually get out there and produce the goods."
