Former Australian keeper-batter Brad Haddin has been named the Assistant Coach of the Indian Premier League franchise Punjab Kings. Recently, the franchise roped in World Cup winning coach Trevor Bayliss as the Head Coach.

The duo have already worked together for Sunrisers Hyderabad and have a great compatibility. The 44 year-old has represented Australia in 66 Tests, 126 ODIs and 34 T20s.

No contract renewals

The franchise did not offer contact renewals to former head coach Anil Kumble, bowling coach Damien Wright and fielding coach Jonty Rhodes. The team has failed to make it past the play-offs for the past three seasons. After successive failures in the illustrious IPL the franchise has decided to rejig the whole of management.

Besides the support staff, there were massive changes in the team lineup. Besides Arshdeep Singh and Mayank Agrawal, no other players were retained in the latest edition of the tournament. Former captain KL Rahul was asked to give up his position as Agrawal was handed the responsibility but failed to perform once again.
