[Watch] KL Rahul's Another 'Selfish' Slow Knock Puts His Team In Hole Vs Samson's RR

KL Rahul is one of the most consistent batters in the history of IPL, but has been often criticised for his low strike-rate and his inability to finish off games. The same thing happened in LSG's first game of IPL 2024 against RR where he scored 58 off 44 balls but ended up losing his wicket when his team needed him to accelerate and bat till the end.

KL Rahul's wicket came on the first delivery of the 17th over when Sandeep Sharma bowled a very full delivery wide outside off. It was a slower one and KL Rahul threw his hand towards the ball, he did not time it perfectly and ended up hitting it to Dhruv Jurel at sweeper cover.

Earlier, RR hammered 193 in the first innings with Sanju Samson smashing 82* off 52 balls and batting till the end. In return, LSG lost three wickets for 11 runs and though KL Rahul held one end up, he was never threatening to take the game away from RR.

There will be many questions raised on the tempo of his batting yet again as from last few years, KL Rahul has been guilty of playing similar knocks which have not yielded any positive results for his team.
