Riyan Parag, who has always been the talk of the town whenever there is IPL, made a significant impact on Sunday (March 24) during Rajasthan Royals’ ongoing clash against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur.

Coming at No. 4, the 22-year-old showed composure while staying in the middle before shifting his gear against Ravi Bishnoi, the No. 5-ranked T20I bowler in the world. 

While facing during the 11th over of Rajasthan’s innings, Parag picked up Bishnoi’s googly perfectly before playing a slog-sweep over wide long-on. It was a massive six, as Jaipur crowd were over the moon to see one of their favourite players live up to his lofty expectations.

At the time of writing this, Rajasthan are on 124/2 after 13.4 overs, with Parag on strike on 32* off 25 balls. RR skipper Sanju Samson, on the other hand, is batting on 54* off 37 balls, as they are heading to a strong finish.

Earlier in the match, RR lost Jos Buttler early, courtesy of an excellent low catch from KL Rahul, who decided to keep behind the wickets despite having Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran.
