Without much doubt, Sanju Samson has to be our player of the match for playing an exceptional knock of 82* off just 52 balls. With three fours and as many as six sixes to his name. He was dealing in boundaries for most part of the game and that just helped RR big time.

First points on the board for Rajasthan and LSG will be thinking what went wrong.

Rajasthan had a rusty start to their innings with Jos Buttler departing in the second over. Yashasvi Jaiswal found boundaries quickly against Mohsin Khan but was dismissed by the same bowler. Duo of skipper Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag found boundaries regularly and formed a 93-run stand for the third wicket before the latter departed. In the end, Samson registered 82 not out after his name while Dhruv Jurel played a fine hand too to take RR to 193 after the end of their 20 overs. Krunal Pandya, meanwhile, was tremendous with the ball giving away just 19 runs in his four overs.

In the second part, Lucknow were in deep trouble since the beginning as Trent Boult and Nandre Burger combined to pick three in the powerplay. However, after that, skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda formed a decent partnership to provide side some hope. When, Hooda departed, Nicholas Pooran joined in and played another gem of a knock alongside KL Rahul. Rahul, although played a 58-run knock but that came off 44 deliveries and actually, put pressure back on LSG. Pooran's knock looked more free-flowing but even that couldn't change the fate for LSG. In the end, RR bowlers Sandeep Sharma, Avesh Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal proved difficult to get away and that helped their side seal the victory by 20 runs.

LSG: 173/6 (20) That's the game for RR. Just six off the final over and LSG has bottled this chase despite Nicholas Pooran's effort of 64* from 41 balls. RR win by 20 runs and LSG fans would be fuming over KL Rahul for not showing much intent.
