The first ODI between India and Sri Lanka is halfway through at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, as the hosts, batting first, put 230/8 on the board after the first innings. 

Sadly, the fans did not turn up as expected and several empty seats were spotted during the game. Nonetheless, the game was no short of renowned figures as KGF fame Ramachandra Raju was in the stand to support India. 

Raju, who rose to fame for his depiction of Garuda in the critically acclaimed movie, KGF 1, spoke about his love for cricket and revealed that it was his first time at Colombo. He was also rooted for Virat Kohli and stated that he was the best on the field.

Talking about the match, Sri Lanka lost early wickets, but Dunith Wellalage scored an unbeaten 67 (65), which featured seven fours and two sixes.

Sri Lanka at one point were 101/5 but did a decent effort by posting 230 runs on the board. India have already beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in the recently concluded T20I series and are looking for same in the ODIs. At the time of writing this article, India have started that the innings with a six and are 6/0.
