Indian billionaire industrialist Sajjan Jindal has vowed to gift a brand-new MG Windsor car to all the medalists from Team India at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. Sajjan Jindal, chairman and managing director of JSW Group of Companies, is also the co-owner of the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals.

On August 2, the business tycoon took to his social media account and confirmed his commitment towards India’s athletes in a bid to encourage the Olympians at the Paris games.

Delhi Capitals owner vows to reward Indian medalists

In a remarkable gesture, JSW Group chairman Sajjan Jindal has announced that he will be gifting every Indian medalist at the Paris Olympics 2024 a brand-new MG Windsor car. The billionaire industrialist took this initiative as part of JSW Group’s collaboration with Morris Garages India.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sajjan Jindal implied that he wanted to reward the aspiring medalists for their hard work and dedication.

Sajjan Jindal’s JSW Group, in 50 percent partnership with GMR Sports, co-own the Delhi Capitals franchise in the IPL. The JSW Sports division also owns SA20 team Pretoria Capitals, ILT20 team Dubai Capitals and ISL football team Bengaluru FC.

Earlier this year, the Delhi Capitals franchise registered seven wins and seven defeats in 14 league games of the IPL 2024 season. Under the leadership of comeback man Rishabh Pant, they failed to qualify for the playoffs by finishing sixth on the points table.

Quite recently, Delhi Capitals owners attended BCCI headquarters in Mumbai for a crucial meeting regarding the player-retention policy and mega auction of the IPL 2025 season.
