In the ongoing first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, the hosts are in trouble as they have lost five wickets for 100 runs. 

The only hope for Sri Lanka was Pathum Nissanka, who looked good and scored a fifty. Nissanka was eyeing a century and put a decent total on the board for his side before Washington Sundar trapped him in front of the wicket with a sharp turn. 

On the 3rd ball of the 27th over, Sundar pitched a good-length delivery that hit a rough patch and produced a sharp turn. Nissanka was left clueless with the turn and given LBW out by the on-field umpire.

He went to the third umpire with a referral, but the umpire's call decision ended Nissanka's stay at the crease. Following the wicket, Sundar was even seen sharing a laugh with the umpire Joel Wilson.

Sundar is having an exceptional series as he shone with the ball and the bat in the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka. He was the player of the match for his 25 (18) with the bat and a two-wicket haul. He also bowled the crucial super-over and took two wickets.
