The first Test between South Africa and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium is moving at an exciting pace as Kagiso Rabada clean-bowled Mushfiqur Rahim with an absolute beauty. The overcast conditions are assisting Rabada in wreaking havoc over Bangladesh batters at home. The South African pacer took his tally to four wickets with this wicket.

Mushfiqur Rahim, who lost his mate Mahmudul Hasan Joy a ball ago, failed to control himself as he fell for 33 runs off 39 balls. However, trouble only worsened for Bangladesh, which is still training by significant runs and has already witnessed a collapse again, losing five wickets.

In the 32nd over, Rabada cunningly unleashed a full-length delivery and that angled in towards the stumps. Rahim aimed to push it to the mid; however, he played all around it. The ball snuck through the massive gap between bat and pad and rattled into the stumps immediately.

Kagiso Rabada Completes 300 Test Wickets

The right-arm pacer has had quite the Test, as previously in the first innings, Rabada became the sixth South African bowler to reach the landmark of 300 Test wickets. The list includes legendary players like Dale Steyn, Shaun Pollock, Allan Donald, Makhaya Ntini, and Morne Morkel.

Bangladesh In Trouble As South Africa Dominate

Meanwhile, talking about the Test match, it started out in Bangladesh's favour as they won the toss and opted to bat first. However, things quickly went south as they lost three wickets right at the start within the first six overs. The other batters eventually took things through and Bangladesh put up a score of 106 runs.

The Proteas men lost their captain, Aiden Markram, early on in the game during their first innings. However, Tristan Stubbs, David Bedingham, and Wiann Mulder all made sure to contribute, along with Kyle Verreynne, who became the first South African wicket-keeper to slam a ton in Bangladesh and eventually took a lead of 202 runs.

Bangladesh began the second innings on Day 2, and they lost three wickets right before the play was called off due to poor lighting. At the time of writing, Bangladesh has also lost Litton Das and is trailing by 85 runs. South African bowlers would have to continue with this magic to bundle them out quickly.
