India's prominent fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah kicked off his IPL 2024 campaign with a bang, as he cleaned up GT's in-form opener Wriddhiman Saha with an absolute ripper. 

After Hardik Pandya opted to bowl, the Titans got off to a brisk start, with Saha and Shubman Gill playing some flamboyant shots. However, as expected, Bumrah emerged as MI's hero with the ball, castling Saha with an accurate yorker. 

The incident occurred in the fourth over when MI's newly appointed captain, Pandya,  introduced Bumrah into the attack in pursuit of a breakthrough. His move worked wonders for the visitors, as the ace speedster removed Saha to conclude his over. 

After keeping it tight and conceding only four runs off his first five balls, Bumrah bowled a toe-crushing yorker, with the ball breaching Saha's defence and disturbing the furniture. 

Thus, the veteran opener, who looked in rhythm for his 15-ball 19, made his way back to the dugout. After his departure, stylish southpaw Sai Sudharsan joined Shubman Gill in the middle to steady the ship for the Titans. 

As of writing, the 2022 edition champions have finished the powerplay on a high note, placed at 47 for one in six overs, with Gill and Sudharsan batting on 23* and 4*, respectively.
