Jasprit Bumrah is not someone who can be ignored by anyone. However, the unthinkable happened on Thursday after India bulldozed England in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final, and it was one of the on-field umpires who did the rare thing with the ace speedster.

The incident happened after Bumrah trapped Jofra Archer for a LBW to bundle England out for 103 in 16.3 overs. The Men in Blue posted 171/7 batting first, and they were delighted while shaking hands with the officials.

Bumrah, however, kept on waiting while extending his hand, but umpires did not even see him, while continuing to do the handshake with Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja, among many others.

Of course, it was not intentional by the umpire, but given Bumrah's stature, it's a very rare scene to happen, and no wonder, it went viral on social media in no time.

India will face South Africa on June 29 in the ongoing T20 World Cup's final, and it will take place at Kensington Oval.
