Axar Patel: "I was bowling in the past many overs in the powerplay. That was the plan. I knew the wicket was assisting spin bowling and the ball was stopping. So I tried to keep it simple.

The wicket is slow. I knew it was hard for the batters to hit. I tried to bowl little slower in this match and it worked for me.

With the way our batsmen told us that wicket isn't easy to hit. Some balls are staying low and skidding, we thought anything above 150 was a good total for us.

That partnership between Rohit and Suryakumar was fantastic. They played one shot boundary and rotated the strike well.

I will celebrate this player of the match in the knockout first and not thinking too much about the final in Barbados."

India absolutely clobbered England by 68 runs to avenge the 10-wicket defeat from 2022 World Cup semi-final and make it to their 3rd final. The Men in Blue will now face South Africa in the grand finale in Barbados.
