Jasprit Bumrah, the 30-year-old Indian vice-captain, left cricket fans in awe during the ongoing second Test against England at Vizag. Bumrah's extraordinary performance saw him claim a remarkable six-wicket haul, restricting the Ben Stokes-led English side to a total of 253 in their first innings.

Bumrah's phenomenal feat in this match further solidified his position as one of the greats in Test cricket. With a total of 152 wickets in just 34 Test matches at a remarkable average of 20.29, Bumrah now stands as the second-best in the 147-year history of Test cricket. The only name ahead of him is the legendary Sydney Barnes from England, boasting an average of 16.43.

Notably, Bumrah's achievement puts him in the esteemed company of cricketing legends even surpassing legends like Malcolm Marshall, Joel Garner, and Glenn McGrath. His outstanding performance in Vizag included crucial dismissals, with former England captain Joe Root and the prolific Ollie Pope among his victims.

Bumrah's unplayable yorkers proved too much for the English batters, with Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Tom Hartley, and James Anderson all succumbing to his brilliance.

Adding another feather to his cap, Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to reach the milestone of 150 Test wickets, accomplishing this feat in just 34 Test matches.
