Promising keeper-batter Ishan Kishan oozed class with the bat as he slammed a flamboyant century for India C in their ongoing Duleep Trophy match against India D at the ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur. The stylish southpaw stepped up with the bat, showcasing his scintillating form in the crucial clash. 

After being put into bat first, India C had a forgettable start to their innings, as Ruturaj Gaikwad was retired hurt for four runs. B Sai Sudharsan and Rajat Patidar scored valuable 40s before getting dismissed by Mukesh Kumar and Navdeep Saini, respectively. After Sudharsan departed, India C desperately needed someone to rise to the occasion and bail them out of trouble. 

Ishan Kishan, who missed the first round of the tournament, grabbed the golden opportunity with both hands, living up to his potential and scoring a glorious century. He batted aggressively to dominate the B team and keep the scoreboard ticking at a rapid rate.

Gaikwad Comes Out To Bat After Ishan's Dismissal

After Mukesh castled Ishan in the 66th over, India C captain Ruturaj Gaikwad came out to bat alongside Baba Indrajith. The skipper was retired hurt earlier but showed his commitment to the team by returning to the middle. Ishan's stunning knock has powered India C to 292 for three, with Indrajith and Gaikwad batting on 70* and 10*, respectively.
