Experienced pacer Arshdeep Singh lost his cool as he hurled verbal abuses at Riyan Parag after dismissing him in the ongoing Duleep Trophy match between India A and India D in Anantapur. Arshdeep, who generally remains calm and composed on the field, showed signs of aggression soon after getting rid of Parag, who was looking sublime in the middle.

The incident occurred during the 17th over of India A's first innings when Parag was trying to steady the ship with Tilak Varma. India D captain Shreyas Iyer's decision to persist with Arshdeep Singh paid rich dividends for his team, as the left-arm pacer got rid of Parag with his razor-sharp bowling.

After conceding five runs, including a boundary, off his first five deliveries, Arshdeep drew Parag onto a false shot with a beautiful delivery. From over the wicket, the speedster bowled a full-length ball, which shaped slightly away from Parag after pitching just outside the off-side.

As the Assam batter went for a risky drive away from his body, the ball flew off his outside edge before being taken by Devdutt Padikkal at slips.

As Riyan Parag was taking him on, Arshdeep expressed his satisfaction by giving him a mouthful when he was making his way back to the dugout.

Rampant India D Rattle India A In Duleep Trophy

Riyan Parag's dismissal opened the floodgates for India A, who lost two more wickets in quick succession and saw their innings derailed in the crucial game. While Saransh Jain sent Tilak Varma packing, Harshit Rana got the better of Shashwat Rawat, courtesy of Shreyas Iyer's sharp catch. As of writing, India A were reeling at 109 for five, with Kumar Kushagra and Shams Mulani batting on 15* and 10*, respectively.
