Losing opener Evin Lewis for just three to Dwaine Pretorius in a chase of 267, Patriots captain Andre Fletcher initiated his team’s aggressive intent by blanking Warriors’ new-ball attack. He shared 69 runs for the second wicket with Kyle Mayers (28 off 17) before getting joined by Sherfane Rutherford at the crease. The two cricketers collectively blitzed the Patriots to 94-2 at the end of the opening powerplay.
