St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are all geared up as they cross swords with the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the seventh match of the ongoing CPL 2024 at the Warner Park Stadium in Basseterre, St. Kitts. 

In the latest development, Guyana Amazon Warriors captain Imran Tahir won the toss and elected to bat first.

It is important to note that, Guyana Amazon Warriors is entering this match with high confidence after a solid start to the tournament. The Warriors secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory in their opener against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, and they are currently placed fourth in the standings with two points.

On the other hand, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots find themselves in a precarious position, with only one win from three matches, they are placed in fifth position.

Despite the explosive batting display in their last game, where they posted a formidable total of 201/3, their bowlers couldn’t defend it, leading to a five-wicket loss against Saint Lucia Kings. 

Evin Lewis was in sensational form and played an explosive knock of 100 off 54 balls, well-supported by Kyle Mayers, who scored an impressive 92 off 62 deliveries. However, their efforts were in vain as the bowling unit faltered under pressure.

We want to put a good score on the board and put them under pressure. We have trained and rested on off days. We have two changes - Raymon Reifer and Kevin Sinclair come in!" 

Andre Fletcher (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "I was going to bowl first if I had won the toss. The ground is small, wind factor a bit of dew as well. Chasing becomes a bit easier.
