Shreyas Iyer stable after near-fatal fall

According to reports, the injury could have been life-threatening had it not been for the quick action of the BCCI medical team on the field.

Thankfully, Shreyas Iyer was rushed to a Sydney hospital, where he was treated immediately, and internal bleeding was contained at the right time.

Shreyas Iyer was initially in the ICU but has since been declared medically stable. He will, however, remain under observation for a few more days as part of his recovery process.
