India have secured a fantastic 4-1 series win against England with a dominant win at Dharamsala by an innings and 64 runs which has helped them consolidate their top position on the points table. India gained 12 points with the win in the final Test which has taken them to 74 points and have also lifted their point percentage to 68.51.
India have now played 9 matches in the WTC cycle 2023-25 and have won six games out of it. They have lost two as well with one draw against West Indies at Queen's Park Oval. New Zealand slipped to second spot after loss against Australia in the first Test and have point percentage of 60 with Australia at third position with 59.09 point percentage.

This thumping series win have boosted India's chances further to seal that spot in their third straight WTC final but they have some tough tours coming with India scheduled to travel Australia later in the year.
England with this loss are languishing at the number 8 position with six losses in 10 matches and have 17.5 percentage points in their kitty. India are surely in pole position currently and let's see how things pan out as this WTC cycle intensifies further.
