With the weeks away from the start of the world's most richest and competitive T20 league, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, players have started to arrive in respective camps for the new season.

One of the most loved and highly talented Sanju Samson, who is a stalwart in IPL, has joined his franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) camp in Jaipur and upon his arrival received a traditional 'Rajwadi' welcome.

Taking to the social media site Instagram, the Rajasthan posted a photo of the coming of their captain, captioned, "Chettan has arrived at his den! 🔥💗." Samson's photo was accompanied by the title 'SUPERSTAR' in the background, which is generally written for famous Indian actor Rajnikanth, who the cricketer is a massive fan of.

Other RR players who have already arrived for the marquee event are Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Riyan Parag, apart from management staff members like Kumar Sangakkara and Shane Bond. 

Rajasthan, who will commence their IPL 2024 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will be without the services of leading pacer Prasidh Krishna. Krishna suffered a quadricep injury during a Ranji Trophy 2024 and since has been out of action, evening missing India's five-Test series against England. 

As captain, Samson has led RR in 45 IPL matches, winning 22 and losing 23, with his best finish being as runners-up in the 2022 edition, losing to winners Gujarat Titans in the final.
