Hardik Pandya has hyped up India’s much-awaited T20 World Cup 2024 match-up against perennial arch-rivals Pakistan. The Star Sports Network, also the official broadcasters of the 20-team event, recently released an electrifying commercial featuring the Indian all-rounder.

In a near minute-long video, Pandya can be seen signifying the hype surrounding India vs Pakistan World Cup matches, and claimed that he loves to perform against the ‘Men in Green’ on the big stage.

Star Sports has unveiled an electrifying tagline to hype up India’s upcoming Group A match against the Pakistan cricket team. The tagline in contention reads ‘Pandya vs Pakistan’, indicating that the official broadcasters are aiming to pin the dynamic Indian all-rounder up against the ‘Men in Green’.

The minute-long video shared by the network on their social media platforms also features Hardik Pandya signifying the grand stage of India vs Pakistan World Cup matches. The 30-year-old stated that he loves to perform in big matches, and admitted that he has been fortunate enough to come up trumps against Pakistan on a couple of occasions in the past. He said:

“For me, standing tall in big games is extra special. And Pakistan has been one team where I have been able to do well against."

Hardik Pandya recently made his return to international cricket through India’s opening match of the 2024 T20 World Cup against Ireland in New York. The dashing all-rounder picked up three wickets in the game to finish with match-winning figures of 3-27.

As of now, Pandya is gearing up to face Pakistan alongside the rest of his Indian colleagues at New York’s Nassau County International Stadium. The much-awaited contest will be staged on June 9 and the action will commence from 8:00 PM IST onwards.
