Rishabh Pant

India's star batter and vice-captain, Rishabh Pant, suffered a finger injury on the first day of the Lord's Test match. The keeper-batter was struck on his finger while trying to stop a ball from Jasprit Bumrah, and for the remainder of the 3rd Test, Dhruv Jurel kept wickets instead of Pant.

The maverick star came out to bat in both innings at Lord's, but he looked half-fit. Despite the injury, he managed to score a fifty in the first innings. Whether he would feature in the 4th Test at Manchester is kept under wraps by the Indian management.

Nitish Reddy

On Sunday, India suffered a massive blow as Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the series due to a knee injury. Reportedly, he sustained the injury during a gym session and was ruled out entirely. He was superb with the ball in hand for India in the Lord's Test match.

Arshdeep Singh

There were rumours that Arshdeep Singh was set to make his Test debut at Manchester; however, even before that, his career was derailed as the left-arm seamer had a cut on his bowling hand during a practice session, and it ultimately ruled him out of the 4th Test match.

Akash Deep

The hero of the Edgbaston Test win, Akash Deep was the latest casualty in India's long-standing list of injured players. The wily seamer suffered a groin injury during the Lord's Test match and looked in discomfort throughout the game. His participation in the 4th Test is under dark clouds at the moment.
