Indian cricket stars Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya paid a courtesy visit to Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, on Sunday. The meeting drew attention online after the Governor posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

The Pandya brothers, now outside India's fray for a few months, are spending their leisure time with physical recovery and spiritual healing ahead of a possible stint for the country in October.

The Maharashtra Governor posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) about the meeting, along with a picture of him greeting the Pandya brothers. “Delighted to meet our respected Indian Cricket Team Players Shri. @hardikpandya7 Ji and Shri. @krunalpandya24 Ji today at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on a courtesy meet. My best wishes,” wrote CP Radhakrishnan on his X handle.

The photo showed Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya presenting the Governor with a special bat bearing their signatures as a courtesy gift. In return, the Pandya brothers received special mementoes from the Governor, while a custom Team India jersey was also gifted to him.

The visit came long after the conclusion of the IPL 2025 final, where Krunal Pandya played a decisive role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's historic title win, while Hardik Pandya reflected on a mixed season leading Mumbai Indians.

Krunal & Hardik's IPL 2025 Journey

Krunal delivered a decisive spell (2/17) in RCB’s historic title win against Punjab Kings, claiming key wickets of Prabhsimran Singh and Josh Inglis. His clutch performance earned Player of the Match honours and cemented his ₹5.75 crore auction value.

Hardik’s return to MI saw improvement from 2024’s playoff miss to a Qualifier 2 finish in 2025. However, despite a strong season, PBKS eliminated MI in the penultimate match, extending Hardik’s quest for a second IPL trophy as captain. Hardik Pandya now spends time relaxing with his son and nephews while also keeping up with his fitness routine during the break.

Nevertheless, both players now prepare for potential national selection ahead of India’s October fixtures against Australia, which start from October 19.
