In recent news, the Indian team has taken extraordinary and different steps to prepare ahead of their much-anticipated five-match Test series against Australia. After a recent series loss to New Zealand, the Team faced heavy criticism and to make a remarkable comeback the management is taking no chances with their preparations.

According to a report by The West Australian, the Indian team has turned the iconic WACA ground in Perth into a fortress and has enforced strict security measures to conduct their training sessions away from public eyes.

Why Have India Opted For Secret Training Session?

The report highlights that the WACA ground is currently under lockdown to facilitate India's secretive training sessions. Public access to the ground has been barred, with nets covering the stadium to prevent any outside viewing. In a bold move, the ground staff has also been subjected to restrictions, including a complete ban on phone usage within the stadium premises.

These measures come as part of India's strategy to prepare for the opening Test match against Australia. Instead of playing traditional warm-up matches, India has opted for an intense training camp that includes match simulations, with aim to replicate the challenging conditions expected in Australia.

Despite the secrecy surrounding their preparations, Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal were seen honing their skills at the nets. It is worth mentioning that, the management have this type opted for a complete strategy and mindset and it clearly appears that the team wants to keep their strategies hidden from Australia. By keeping their training sessions under wraps, the team hopes to regain confidence and address the issues that plagued them in the recent New Zealand series.

As far as the conditions in Perth are concerned, there are several reports that the pitch for the first Test is expected to be traditionally fast and bouncy. Groundsmen are reportedly preparing a surface that will test the Indian batters with its steep bounce and tendency to develop cracks as the match progresses.
