The Border-Gavaskar Series is just around the corner as Team India players have arrived in Australia for a gruelling Test series against the home side. The 5-match Test series will begin on November 22, and it will be India's biggest litmus test.

The Rohit Sharma led Indian side are coming into this series on the back of  a shocking series defeat against the New Zealand team. The Kiwis inflicted a 3-0 whitewash and ran away with the series as India now find themselves in a tough situation.

Team India now have to beat the Aussies, 4-0 to seal their place in the WTC finale, but that won't be an easy task as the first Test will take place on the fastest pitch in the world.

As per the curator of Perth Stadium, the pitch will assist the seamers and will have pace and bounce as well, which will make the task difficult for the batters. Ahead of the series opener, India's two biggest hope, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant have begin their practice session as India eye a series win.

In a video which is going viral, both the batters are sweating it out in net sessions and looked comfortable during their stay.

Why Jaiswal and Pant will hold the key for India?

With the old guards, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli performing poorly in the recently concluded series against the Kiwis, India's hopes will rest on the shoulders of two youngsters. Both Jaiswal and Pant are ultra dynamic and their game style will suit the pitches in Australia.

Both Jaiswal and Pant are positive players and their aggressive style of batting could be the way to deal with the hostile bowling of the Australian team. Pant has already shown his calibre, Down Under, and the series now provides Jaiswal a golden chance to showcase his talent, starting from the first Test in Perth.
