India and England are all set to lock horns for the fourth test match of England’s tour of India at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium in Ranchi from 23-27 February.

The Indian Cricket team management has introduced three debutants in the first three test matches and is expected to give a maiden call-up to yet another player in the upcoming match.

As per the reports, the young pacer from RCB,  Akash Deep is expected to receive his maiden Test cap ahead of the fourth test match against England.

The team has recently released Jasprit Bumrah from the squad for the upcoming game and Akash Deep is expected to replace him in the Playing XI.

The squad has an experienced backup in Mukesh Kumar alongside Mohammed Siraj, however, Akash’s recent performances for India A have left the team selectors impressed, which might push up his red ball cricket debut.

During the second test match, Mukesh ended the spell with a poor economy with a single wicket while his co-pacer Jasprit Bumrah picked nine wickets in the game as Siraj was rested.
