Rahul Dravid stepped down as India's head coach

Rahul Dravid stepped down as India's head coach after his tenure concluded with India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory.

The triumph in Barbados marked India's end to an 11-year ICC Trophy drought with a thrilling seven-run win against South Africa, earning their second T20 World Cup title after 17 years.

This victory was particularly significant for Dravid, as it provided him with redemption on the same soil where he faced a major setback in his career when India was eliminated in the first stage of the 2007 ODI World Cup under his captaincy.
