Pakistan To Play Afghanistan, UAE In A Tri-Series Ahead Of U19 Asia Cup 2024

Pakistan will play a under-19 tri-series against Afghanistan and the UAE, with the United Arab and Emirates (UAE) taking the responsibility to host it. It will begin on Pakistan taking on the UAE on November 13, and will end on November 26 with the final.

This tournament will help all three teams to prepare themselves for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024. The schedule of the upcoming showpiece event, however, is yet to be announced.


PCB Director International, Usman Wahla, is excited about the upcoming tri-series.

“We are delighted that the Pakistan Men’s U19 team will be participating in this highly competitive U19 tri-series in the UAE. It presents a tremendous opportunity for our young players to enhance their skills and gain valuable experience,” Wahla said in a statement.

"The PCB is thankful to the Emirates Cricket Board for arranging this tri-series which also shows strong bilateral ties between both the Boards and our shared commitment towards developing young players,” he added.

Notably, Bangladesh were the winners of the U-19 Asia Cup when the last time took place. They defeated the UAE in the final, while India were knocked out in the semi-final.

15 November – Afghanistan vs Pakistan 

17 November – UAE vs Afghanistan

19 November – Pakistan vs Afghanistan

21 November – Afghanistan vs UAE

23 November – UAE vs Pakistan

26 November – Final
