One of India's greatest cricketing legends, Virat Kohli, is all set to return to action on August 2 as India takes on Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. This series holds significant importance as it marks Kohli's return to international cricket after a brief break following India's T20 World Cup victory.

So much so, he has amassed 26,884 runs in 530 matches and now is just 116 runs away from 27,000 runs international runs. 

Currently, there are only three cricketers who rank above him i.e. Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs), Kumar Sangakkara (28,016 runs), Ricky Ponting (27,483 runs).

2.Virat Kohli is 152 runs away from completing 14,000 ODI runs

Kohli, is in line to join legendary batters like Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara by being just 152 runs away from completing 14,000 ODI runs.
