The Indian cricket team is currently without a jersey sponsor as Dream11 parted ways with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) following the recent passing of the ‘Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025’ by the Indian government. The ‘Men in Blue’ are scheduled to travel to the UAE within a couple of weeks to participate in the upcoming 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup.

While senior all-rounder Fatima Sana will continue to lead the team, she will be accompanied by Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar and Syeda Aroob Shah; with all six of these players lined-up to mark their maiden World Cup appearances.

South African all-rounder Dane van Niekerk has reversed her retirement from international cricket. The 32-year-old has been named in a 20-player South African group for a training camp as they bid to prepare for the upcoming 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
