In what is coming as inspiring news for women's cricket, the South African team is all set to tour Pakistan for an ODI series ahead of the Women's World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. The Women's World Cup, set to begin on September 30th, will be played in India, whereas Pakistan will play all their matches in Sri Lanka.
South Africa To Prepare For WC With Pakistan Series
The news from the Proteas camp is that the South African women's side will prepare for the upcoming Women's World Cup, to be played in India and Sri Lanka, with a series against the Pakistan women's side in Lahore, featuring three one-day matches.
The series is set to be played from the 16th to the 22nd of September, with all matches played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The first match of the series will be on September 16th, while the final game will be on September 22nd.

Following this, the South African side will travel to India for their matches as the Women's World Cup begins on 30th September. The African side will play its first match against the English women on October 3rd in Guwahati.
Training Camp Organised Ahead Of Pakistan Tour & World Cup
Moreover, it has been revealed that the Proteas women's side will also undergo a training camp set to take place in Durban from August 25th to September 1st, as the side will be engaged in high-performance training at the venue to prepare for the World Cup.
As for South Africa, they will play five of their matches in India, while the remaining two against Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on October 17th and 21st, respectively. They will play against India, the main host, on October 9th in Visakhapatnam.
The Pakistan women's side have recently announced their 15-member squad for the World Cup and for this series, led by Fatima Sana, which includes seven uncapped players. While for South Africa, they are yet to name their squad, which is likely to be announced in a few days.
