Jofra Archer, who had a tough journey getting his name registered his name in IPL 2025 mega-auction, found it to be worth it as he was in high demand before eventually going to Rajasthan Royals for 12.50 crores.
It is worth noting that Archer had registered his name for IPL mega-auction was a part of the 1574 member list. However, he withdrew his name from the shortened list as ECB wanted him to be fit for the upcoming English summer.
Meanwhile, Archer held a discussion with ECB and managed to convince them to let him register for the mega-auction. He also held talks with BCCI and was allowed to return to the shortened list.

Not just Mumbai, but Archer has also represented Rajasthan Royals, and the two teams engaged in a bidding war to get their player back. Notably, the two teams entered a ego war, but RR emerged the victorious team.
It is a surpluss for Archer as he has seen a rise in his IPL value as previously earned 8 crores and now has gone with 12.50 crores.
