The inaugural edition of Pakistan's Champions One-Day Cup 2024 will kickstart on September 12. The five-team List A tournament will be held in Faisalabad and the players are sweating hard in the nets to prove their mettle after a disappointing series defeat against Bangladesh at home. 

Talking about the Champions One-Day Cup, eyes would be on Babar Azam, who is going through a slump and would look to return to form. Interestingly, Babar, who would be representing the Stallions, will not lead the side, but play under the leadership of Mohammad Harris. 

Haris Rauf's Special Gesture For Babar Azam Fan

In the latest events, a video of Haris Rauf, who is on the same side as Babar, went viral, where he helped a young fan escape security after the kid invaded the ground during a practice session in Faisalabad.

The reports mentioned that the kid was a Babar Azam fan and wanted to meet his idol. However, as seen in the video, he failed to spot Babar, and the security was after the kid to escort him out of the ground. Meanwhile, Haris Rauf jumped in between and helped him escape the security.

He further asked the guard not to catch the kid and let him go unpunished. His gesture won fans' hearts as there were even 'Haris Haris' chants taking over the ground.

The Stallions will play their first Champions One-Day Cup match against the Lions on September 13 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
