In the latest development around the Champions Trophy 2025, there are reports that the International Cricket Council (ICC) will send a delegation to Pakistan to assess their preparations for Champions Trophy 2025.

According to a report from Zee News, they mentioned that cricket's apex governing body would send a special team within ten days to Pakistan to have a look at the renovation work that is underway in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Gaddafi Stadium.

The reports also mentioned that following the delegation's visit, the ICC is likely to release the schedule and commence the ticket sales for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Renovation Work In Full Swing In Pakistan

The renovation work in Pakistan is in full swing, as recently, the PCB too relocated Pakistan-Bangladesh's 2nd Test match away from Karachi because of the construction at the stadium. Similarly, the other two venues are undergoing a make-over as there were reports that the PCB has kept aside a fund of 17 billion for their preparations for the Champions Trophy.

Mohsin Naqvi Confident Of Champions Trophy Being Held In Pakistan

In the latest events, PCB chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, has broken his silence on the matter and reaffirmed to the cricketing world that the Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan. Naqvi also added that he is in discussions with BCCI secretary Jay Shah and other boards.

“Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, we are in touch with the BCCI Secretary. We are also in contact with the boards of the teams participating in the Champions Trophy," Naqvi said as reported by Geo News.

Despite the latest developments around Champions Trophy 2025, there is no update on India's participation in the upcoming fifty-over event as reports mentioned that the BCCI is unlikely to send the Indian side to Pakistan because of security reasons.
