The inaugural edition of Pakistan's Champions Cup 2024 will kickstart on September 12. All the games will be played in Faisalabad, with five teams partaking in this List A tournament. Meanwhile, eyes are on Babar Azam, who will represent the Stallions. 

The Mohammad Haris-led side are sweating it hard in the nets ahead of their tournament opener match against Lions on September 13. Meanwhile, a clip from the Stallions' training session has gone viral, where Babar Azam has again hogged the internet over his heartwarming gesture. 

Babar Attends Regular Prayer In Towel

In the video, Babar can be seen searching for his trousers to attend the regular prayer during the training session. However, Pakistan's white-ball captain failed to find one and thus resorted to a towel to join the prayer. 

Babar wrapped the towel around his waist and joined his teammates to take part in the evening prayers. 

Babar Azam Going Through A Slump In Test Cricket

Babar is going through a rare rough patch as he is struggling to score runs. Recently, in the home Test series against Bangladesh, Babar failed to score a solitary fifty-plus score, and his failure with the bat was one of the major reasons why his side suffered a 0-2 series defeat against The Tigers for the first time in their history.  It also resulted in a major drop in the ICC Test batters' ranking as Babar is now placed 12th.

However, it must be noted that despite Babar's repeated failures with the bat, his popularity remains unfazed, and the right-hand batter enjoys a great fan following. Recently, one of his young fans invaded Stallions' training session to meet his idol. However, due to security reasons, the fan could not meet Babar, but Haris Rauf made sure that the security let him go unpunished. 

Babar will be next seen in action against the Lions on September 13 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
