On Day 4 of the 2nd Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the match witnessed an unexpected turn of events as Pakistan's premier batter, Babar Azam, failed to make a significant impact.

After a modest 31 in the first innings, Babar's stay at the crease was cut short in the second innings, as he fell victim to a fiery delivery from Bangladeshi pacer Nahid Rana.

The pivotal moment occurred in the 19th over of Pakistan's second innings. With Pakistan leading the match, Babar Azam, who was expected to anchor the innings, was dismissed after scoring just 11 runs.

Nahid Rana's delivery, slightly back of a length and shaping away from the off stump, caught Babar inside the crease. Misjudging the line, Babar edged the ball to Shadman Islam at first slip, who made no mistake in claiming the catch. This dismissal left Pakistan reeling at 65/5, with a lead of just 77 runs.

Nahid Rana's Impressive Show At Rawalpindi

Nahid Rana's impressive spell continued as he quickly took three wickets. Earlier in the day, he also claimed the wicket of the current Test skipper, Shan Masood, who managed 28 runs before being dismissed. Later in the game, he took the third wicket, removing Pakistan's left-handed batter, Saud Shakeel, scoring two runs.

Pakistan's innings began to crumble, with the team at a precarious 93/6 in 24.3 overs at the time of writing. Bangladesh's bowlers have kept the pressure on, with Pakistan’s lead looking fragile. The Test match hangs in the balance, with both teams fighting to gain the upper hand.
