Ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL), India's T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, sat down to rate some of the beautiful free-kicks scored in the history of India's premier football league.

The upcoming edition of ISL begins on September 13, while Suryakumar, who is a big football fan, rated some of the free-kicks and also talked about the one he scored during a practice session with the Indian team. 

Suryakumar Impressed By Footballing Talent In India

The 33-year-old star batter was stunned by the talent in ISL and even took on a challenge to replicate one of the free-kicks scored by a player.  

Further, SKY was impressed by one of the celebrations by a player and remarked that he too would look to replicate the same in the upcoming games for India. The ISL Twitter handle posted the reaction clip on their social media account.  

Suryakumar Yadav's Love For Football

Suryakumar Yadav is a big football fan, as he has often posted stories on Instagram watching football. Recently, he and Mohammed Siraj also shared a story of them watching Ronaldo play. SKY also made it to the news after he met former Manchester United manager Ole Solskjaer during the latter's visit to India. The two legends of the game exchanged jerseys during their meet. 

Talking about SKY, he has been out of the game for a few weeks because of a hand injury he suffered in the Buchi Babu tournament, following which he also missed the first round of the Duleep Trophy.

The latest development around Suryakumar Yadav is that the NCA doctors are happy with his progress and they have deemed him fit to play in the upcoming rounds of Duleep Trophy 2024. SKY, who is a part of India C, squad, is currently in Bengaluru, and it is likely that he might make his return to the domestic tournament for round 2, beginning on September 12.
