The highly anticipated Australia tour of England 2024 is all set to kick off as the Australian army crosses their blades with Phil Salt-led England in the first T20I slated to take place at The Rose Bowl, Southampton on 11 September.

After completing an easy 3-0 victory over Scotland and a notable knock by Travis Head, Australia is scheduled to take on England. Mitch Marsh's Australian team will be strengthened with the return of Josh Hazlewood and Matthew Short. While Nathan Ellis was ruled out following a hamstring injury, Riley Meredith was called in his place for the series.

On the other hand, England are without their skipper, Jos Buttler, who is recovering from a calf injury. In his absence, Phil Salt will assume the role of captain. The England side is filled with new faces to the line-up, with 20-year-old Jacob Bethell receiving a call-up to the international level after relentless performances in domestic T20 leagues. Left-arm seamer Josh Hull has also been brought into the fold, as have new faces Dan Mousley and John Turner.

According to the weather forecast by Accuweather, the temperature is expected to stay between 14° C and 17° C. A slight shower will occur in some places throughout the morning; however, it is not a cautious sign, as otherwise, it would remain sunny to partly cloudy.

As the day transitions into evening and night, the weather conditions will remain clear and chilly, with no chances of precipitation or thunderstorms. 

While there is a cloud cover of 27%, it is not a cause for concern. The weather conditions are expected to be stable and suitable for the game.
