For the first time in the history of Afghanistan cricket, ACB has announced that it will host two top cricketing countries New Zealand and South Africa for a series at their home soil.

Afghanistan cricket has come a long way from its humble beginnings to become a respected force in the international cricketing arena.

Despite facing numerous challenges, including political instability and limited resources, the Afghanistan cricket team has managed to make remarkable strides, gaining admiration and support from fans worldwide.

As they march on to new heights each day, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is working tirelessly to build stronger relationships with other cricket-playing nations.

ACB confirms hosting NZ, SA !

In a monumental announcement, ACB released a video confirming that AFG will host New Zealand and South Africa on their home soil for the very first time in their cricketing history.

Notably, Afghanistan and New Zealand were scheduled to play a one-off Test match in Noida, which might now be shifted to Afghanistan.

Additionally, AFG is set to clash with South Africa in an ODI series, which will be the two nations' first bilateral clash.

This is a proud moment not only for Afghan cricket but for the nation as a whole. It is an opportunity for the ACB to showcase its infrastructure, organisational capabilities, and the passion of its fans. This move is expected to bring more international cricket to the country.

Rashid Khan Unavailable For Tests

Afghanistan captain and renowned spinner Rashid Khan was snubbed off Afghanistan's preliminary squad for the New Zealand Test series.

As per reports, Khan is likely to be unavailable for Tests until November as he has been advised by doctors and physicians to avoid playing the longer format.

Rashid Khan underwent a back surgery last year and missed a lot of playing time. Hence, with the Champions Trophy in sight, ACB wants to avert any risks and will continue playing without their ace.
