The preparations for IPL 2025 are in full swing, and Delhi Capitals have emerged as one of the favourites following their buys at the mega-auction in Jeddah recently. The Capitals are still eyeing their maiden IPL trophy and have made several personal changes, including a change in the manager. 

The Capitals have done a great job at the auction and brought in a variety of players. The critics have ranked Delhi's mega-auction strategy as one of the best among all teams, and they have built a solid team for IPL 2025. While the squad looks solid on paper, they also need to perform on the field, and this article will highlight the three strengths of Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025. 

1. Solid 'Finishers' Option

Delhi Capitals have gathered solid options for the finisher's role for the upcoming season. Notably, they already had Tristan Stubbs, who used to shift to fifth gear during death overs and provide the essential runs. Meanwhile, they have roped in the likes of Ashutosh Sharma, who shone at PBKS last season, and CSK reject Samir Rizvi, who has proved his mettle to hit big sixes in the domestic circuit. 

2. Great Options To Bowl Death Overs

DC worked on improving their bowling line-up, and they have done a fantastic job in that. The Capitals roped in the likes of Mitchell Starc and T Natarajan, who are known for their toe-crushing yorkers. 

Both Natarajan and Starc had a great IPL 2024, and they would be rearing to have a go in IPL 2025 as well. The last four overs are essential in a T20 match, and DC have that sorted, with Natarajan and Starc bowling the crucial and difficult overs at the end. 

The two are masters of their craft, and there is no better option than lethal yorkers to put a break on the opposition's scoring rate.

3. Great Indian Spin-Bowling Duo

If we shed light on the spin options, then Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel need no introduction. Not just IPL, but these two stalwarts are two of the finest spinners for the Indian teams. 

In IPL, other teams have great spin bowling options, but when it comes to a pair and that too an Indian pair, then DC tops that list and it is a big strength for any side.
