Renowned Indian umpire Anil Chaudhary has heaped massive praise on legendary cricketer MS Dhoni for his accuracy while opting for the Decision Review System (DRS). 

The DRS is a cricketing technology to challenge the on-field decisions. Whenever a team is unconvinced in the umpire's call, they opt for the DRS in a bid to get the decision in their favour. 

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, who has led the Men in Blue to three ICC titles, is regarded as one of the finest users of this technology, as he mostly gets it right whenever he goes upstairs. 

So, Anil Chaudhary lauded Dhoni for using the DRS technology to perfection. Speaking on the '2 sloggers' podcast, he reckoned that it's generally tough for wicket-keepers to track the events happening on the other side of the stumps. 

Therefore, as he put it, Dhoni's ability get most DRS calls in his favour deserves more applause and recognition. 

"MS Dhoni is very accurate, almost close to accurate - sometimes what happens is that the keeper stays behind, even he can't see the position of the bowler - that's a different thing but he is very reasonable," Anil Chaudhary said. 

Will MS Dhoni play IPL 2025?

Despite retiring from international cricket, MS Dhoni is still active in the Indian Premier League. He represents Chennai Super Kings and could be retained ahead of the mega auction. 

Several reports also claim that the legendary cricketer could be retained as an uncapped player, as he was retired five years ago. So, in all likelihood, Dhoni will feature in the IPL 2025.
