“Doesn’t always bat the same as Virat, but for some reason he feels like Virat in a lot of senses just when you watch him play,” Khawaja said on a Fox Cricket YouTube video where the Australian team picked their current ODI World XI.

The Men In Green had a disappointing run at the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024 after exiting the tournament before the group stage, the first for them in the tournament's history.

As an unexpected result, Pakistan lost to the United States of America in their tournament opener, which caused them to face a lot of criticism and backlash, followed by failing to secure a win against Rohit Sharma's India.

Although they won the final two games, it wasn't enough to keep them in the tournament, and they were forced to exit early.

Ever since their return to Pakistan, there have been many discussions on favouritism and whether a couple of players should still retain a spot in the national team.

Looking ahead, all eyes are on Pakistan's upcoming match against Bangladesh on August 21, a crucial opportunity for the team to redeem themselves and regain their winning form.
