Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has been making waves in international cricket with his masterclass knocks across formats. The southpaw notched his second Test century in the second Test match against England in Visakhapatnam on Friday.

Despite wickets falling at the other end, Yashasvi Jaiswal held one end together and produced a masterclass display of Test match batting. He dominated the England attack by mixing caution with aggression on a good batting surface.

India ended Day 1 with 336 runs on the board and six down, but Yashasvi Jaiswal is still there at the crease batting on 179. From Sachin Tendulkar to Irfan Pathan, big legendary stars praised the southpaw for his brilliant knock.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals took this as an opportunity to share a video of the Indian batter with South African all-rounder Chris Morris. The video dates back to the time when Morris was part of the Royals’ set-up.

Morris, perhaps, knew at that time how talented Jaiswal was. In the video clip, he drew Yashasvi's comparison with legendary Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly and also labelled him as ‘Baby Ganguly.’

You can watch the video clip here:

In only his sixth Test match, Jaiswal already has a home and away Test hundred to his name. Besides him, all the other batters got starts but failed to convert them. However, Jaiswal soaked the pressure perfectly and took India to a great position in the Test match.

Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer fail to impress once again

On a good batting track, the likes of Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, once again, failed to hit the straps. Ahead of the start of the Test match, the duo was criticized a lot over their poor form.

Both the batters had the chance to shut down the critics but they threw the start away. Gill departed after playing a solid knock of 34 off 46, while Shreyas Iyer made 27 off 59. Skipper Rohit Sharma also got out early in the innings after scoring 14 off 41 balls.

As for England’s bowling attack, Shoaib Bashir emerged as the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2 for 100.
