Pakistani cricket sensation, Shaheen Shah Afridi, had a momentous meeting with Avram Glazer, the co-owner of Manchester United and owner of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on the sidelines of the ongoing ILT20 league in Dubai. Afridi, who is currently showcasing his skills with the Desert Vipers, shared a heartwarming video on social media, expressing gratitude to Glazer for the warm welcome.

In the video, Avram Glazer is seen presenting a Manchester United jersey to Afridi and extending an invitation to attend matches at the iconic Old Trafford or even experience an American football game.

Afridi, visibly delighted, reciprocated the gesture with a heartfelt caption in his social media post, 

"Thank you, Avram Glazer. It was great to meet you. I'm looking forward to hosting you in my lovely Pakistan and going to some Manchester United and Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL games with you."

Avram Glazer, a member of the renowned Glazer family, also owns the NFL side Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During their brief encounter, Glazer expressed a keen interest in cricket and football, inviting Afridi to visit Old Trafford whenever he desired.

"If you ever want to come to Old Trafford, we would love to have you there, or American football game if you watch the American football game," Glazer said during the conversation.

Currently representing the Desert Vipers in the ILT20 league alongside Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan, Afridi has made a notable impact with six wickets in five matches. Despite the star-studded line up, the Vipers find themselves at the bottom of the points table with just two wins and four points after six matches.

With four crucial matches remaining, the Vipers are determined to turn the tide and secure victories to stay alive for the eliminators. The ILT20 campaign has been challenging for them, but the presence of Afridi and his teammates continues to be a source of excitement for cricket fans.
